What to Expect

At the front door you'll find friendly people who will greet you, answer any questions you may have and hand you a bulletin.  The bulletin has this week's announcements and an order of service, so you'll know what to expect.

You'll notice that everyone dresses comfortably, in anything from "office casual" to "jeans and sneakers".

The service begins with a welcome, a hymn, invocation and a few announcements about coming events.  Our choir will sing or there will be special music, followed by the morning prayer, then a time of worship and praise.  The preaching follows that.  The service will close about 60 minutes or so after it began with a hymn and benediction.  You are invited to come forward after the service if you would like prayer.

During the service you'll be asked to complete a card found in the pew rack in front of you.  This is one of the best ways we've found to know you were here.  Don't worry, we won't add your name to a mailing list or give your information to anyone.

Your children are welcome to stay with you in the service if they wish.  A nursery is available on the lower level with story time, songs and snacks for children ages 4 and under.  We're very security conscious so you'll know your children will be well cared for - your child will be given a code -  should you be needed during the service, that code will be displayed on the monitor on the right side of the Sanctuary.

Children ages 5-10 are invited to join children's church, which is dismissed after praise.  They meet in the children's church room, located in the LL of the Sanctuary building.   Plan to pick up your kids from their classrooms after the service ends.
